Specifications include, but are not limited to: ● Devote 25 hours per month on graphic design assignments determined by CAAM (unused hours roll over to next month and can borrow against future months as needed) ● Create templates and designs for invitations, flyers, interior/ exterior graphics, and social media/ online platforms. ● Provide vendor recommendations and coordinate with vendors on estimates, production, and installation for printed materials, banners, vinyl, and other marketing materials ● Create print and digital design for Here & Now, banners, vinyl, brochures, and other marketing materials. ● Provide amended design for website expansions and revisions. ● Provide brainstorming and creative direction for promotions and multimedia resources. ● Implement strong brand identity materials and guidelines for institutional use respecting the museum’s existing style guide. ● Consult with internal and external clients, production teams, and outside vendors to produce visual communications according to the mission of the Museum. ● Create advertising concepts designed for multiple formats. ● Develop exhibition graphic identity through exhibition title design and wall texts. ● Provide estimates for production, give proof approval, and implement installation schedule of vinyl texts, mural graphics, object labels, and final exhibition finishes. ● Onsite oversight of graphic installation as needed. ● Consultant is expected to provide weekly check-ins (via email or phone call), monthly status reports, and come to CAAM’s Administrative Office for in-person staff meeting once a month.
