Specifications include, but are not limited to: DMV legacy systems support the provision of services to millions of California residents through 188 field offices (FO) (Inspections.16, Driver Safety.17, Industry Business Centers (IBC).10), 3 contact centers, 186 auto clubs (AC), and over 5,900 business partner (BPA) locations throughout the State. DMV services provide a means to assess and collect the regulated fees and taxes that support many states, local, and city transportation agencies, and departments. DMV has chosen Salesforce as the platform to modernize its OL, VR, DL, and CC legacy applications. DMV’s legacy systems, the replacement of which is crucial, provide services and information to other government agencies, including law enforcement and the courts.
