The County’s Behavioral Health Services is interested in exploring innovative strategies and addressing potential challenges in providing the highest-quality services to adolescents within the Drug Medi-Cal Organized Delivery System who require residential treatment services. Some program key components include: Deliver behavioral health care that is client and family-centered, safe, clinically effective, rehabilitation and recovery-focused, trauma-informed, outcomes-driven, and culturally competent. Utilize ASAM placement criteria screening to ensure that clients are matched to the appropriate level of care regardless of where they make their initial contact. Provide a minimum of 1 hour of programmatic activity daily and a minimum of 20 hours of structured activity per week. Serve as a community referral resource, directing clients in need of other services beyond the scope of the program.
