Specifications include, but are not limited to: provide technical and functional support services to Department of WaterResources (DWR) in support of DWR Power Settlement System. The market changes dueto implementation of California Independent System Operator (CAISO) initiatives have directimpact on DWR business processes. Changes to DWR internal business process andfunctions, new power purchase agreements, joint ownership of power facilities, also havesignificant impacts to DWR Power Settlement and Market Operations business processesand require data validations. Most of these initiatives have impact to Power Settlement andMarket Operations processes, systems, and verifications. In response of these marketchanges, DWR receives software releases from vendor and makes necessary modificationto the system tools and processes internally. Many of these changes extend to DWRreporting tools and processes. DWR is seeking functional assistance and technical supportto Power Settlement and Market Operations Branch.
