The City of San Carlos is seeking proposals from qualified firms experienced to provide decorative pole banner services to be placed throughout the City of San Carlos. Services requested include graphic design, printing and production. Sizes are primarily 30” x 94” and 30” x 60”. The current Downtown Decorative Banner program includes 27 sets of two-sided double banners along El Camino Real, 47 two-sided single banners along Laurel Street, and three sets of two-sided double banners on San Carlos Avenue. In 2011, the City of San Carlos commissioned the implementation of an additional “Identity Program”, adding hardware and 159 banners primarily to the Industrial Arts area on the east side of the City, in addition to Burton, Laureola, and Highlands parks. These additional banners and arms have since been removed, but the hardware remains on each pole. The goals of the City of San Carlos are to: 1) Reinstate the Identity Program with new designs, beginning with the 2025 San Carlos Centennial celebration theme; and 2) Design and produce a minimum of five new event/seasonal messages for the Downtown Banner Program. 1) Art/design services for minimum of five banner runs, sized appropriately. 2) Printing services on banners; each to be printed on one single piece of block-out vinyl, minimum 18oz weight.
