The proposed scope of work for this project includes, but will not be limited to, the following: • Structural Repairs, if required • Inspections: Visual Inspection: A non-invasive assessment to identify visible issues such as wear and tear, damage, or improper installation. This includes: Structural components (walls, floors, ceilings) Mechanical systems (HVAC, exhaust, fire suppression) Electrical systems (wiring, lighting, control panels) Plumbing (sinks, drains, grease traps) Kitchen equipment (ovens, fryers, refrigerators) Destructive Inspection: If necessary, invasive testing may be required to assess hidden issues, such as: Removing wall panels to inspect concealed wiring or plumbing Cutting into floors or ceilings to assess structural integrity of ductwork, plumbing, and associated systems. Testing insulation and fireproofing materials (if necessary) Checking for mold, leaks, or corrosion inside walls or under flooring • Accessibility Upgrades: Improvements to ensure compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). • Mechanical (Hood and related exhaust fans equipment), Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) Upgrades: Replacement and/or repairs to the cafeteria HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems to improve functionality, reliability and energy efficiency.
