Specifications include, but are not limited to: The District seeks established vendors whose companies consist of highly qualified tutors who are either graduate level students, professionals with background experience in the education field (single and/or multiple subject teachers, substitutes, etc.) or undergrad STEM majors that comply with Live Scan background check requirements. All vendor resources and/or curricula must be aligned to the California Common Core State Standards (at the different grade levels) while also focusing on developing critical thinking, problem solving, and analytical skills. Additionally, all vendors must provide regular training, supervision, and evaluation of their tutors. Finally, Vendors must have the means to provide usage data to the District and report on student progress to teachers and/or parents.
