City of West Sacramento (City) is requesting the following work. This will be itemized to select what will be determined as approved within budget. A. Furnish and install up to 50 Opticom 3100 GPS-enabled intersection equipment for Emergency Vehicles within City-Owned Intersections (an attachment "Traffic Signal EVP Locations OpenGov" will show all 50 locations along with the existing four (4) City owned and two (2) Caltrans owned intersections that have already been outfitted with the GPS/EVP Opticom system. 1. Test and verify all operations and communications received and properly transmitting and dropping calls from City Fire Department vehicles for all directions. 2. A current/valid certified IMSA TRAFFIC SIGNAL SR. FIELD TECHNICIAN III required onsite to coordinate with City Traffic Engineer to perform any changes in the Traffic Signal controller (Cobalt/EOS) and implement any field timing changes. Contractor shall update the timing sheets and provide an emailed copy of the updated timing to the City Traffic Engineer & Public Works. Included in the bid items for installation: there will need to be a full inventory performed at all City owned intersections as to what will be needed to make all the locations functional (i.e. what phase selectors are in place, is there a 760 card rack, best pole placement per the manufacturer for optimum communication to vehicles and nearby signals, etc.) B. Furnish and install up to six (6) Opticom GPS-enabled intersection equipment for Emergency Vehicles at six (6) Caltrans owned Intersections (within the City).
