The UC invites qualified and responsible Suppliers to prepare and submit proposals to this Request for Proposal (RFP) for executive search services to support the appointment of a new University president, in accordance with Federal and State of California laws and the requirements of UC as further detailed in this RFP. The overall objective of this RFP is to select a supplier to provide to the Special Committee, appointed by the Chair of the Board of Regents and to its Academic Advisory Committee to assist in recruiting a new President for the UC System. The appointed committees will work with the constituent groups and the search firm to identify and recommend to the Board of Regents the most highly qualified candidate for this position selected from nominees, prospects who are qualified and interested in the opportunity, and applicants.
