Specifications include, but are not limited to: • Reviewing the electrical building layout and existing switchgear, electrical system, energy use data, terrain between the ponds and the electrical building, and the retention pond size, embankment, orientation and existing operational equipment. • Providing recommendations of floating solar array size, orientation, efficiency, connection, longevity, tethering and anchoring. • Designing the floating solar array in accordance with the measures detailed by all applicable codes. • Reviewing existing facilities and planned projects for the most seamless fit into the current water recycling facility operations. • Calculating floating solar array energy production, energy offset, demand offset/reduction, Power Purchase Agreement per kWh fee (inclusive of initial capital purchase and installation, system maintenance costs, equipment failure/replacement, system optimization, and all labor necessary to accomplish these tasks), and charting year-round solar production as compared to historical electrical usage. • Preparing environmental documents for approval, documents for review & approval by additional agencies, design documents suitable for building permit review, product specifications and construction documents suitable for construction. • Reviewing the intended project scope and enhancing the project based on industry expertise. • Adhering to all local ordinances and State Labor Codes requiring Contractor Licensing, Contractor Registration, Fair / Livable Wages, and Department of Industrial Relations Registration.
