Specifications include, but are not limited to: The City of Los Altos (“City”) is requesting proposals from qualified firms that can provide on-call general and specialized planning services for residential or non-residential projects in support of the Development Services Department. The City desires a high level of professionalism and customer service to residents, businesses, contractors, and non-profit organizations through continuity of oncall general and specialized planning services. The City is seeking to establish agreements with consultants for on-call general and specialized planning services, beginning in September 2024, in connection with medium to large development projects or policy projects. From time-to-time the Development Services Department requires additional professional and technical expertise in the following areas: • General planning, including moderate and large development project management and staffing support • Economic analysis • Historic analysis • Urban design • Surplus Land Act • Long-range planning • Environmental review analysis expertise
