Specifications include, but are not limited to: The objective of this project is for the City of Pomona to leverage a highly qualified Geographic Information Systems consultant, with a proven track record, to deliver a comprehensive suite of GIS services for its Information Technology Department, tailored to meet the City’s unique needs. The selected consultant will engage in comprehensive collaboration with multiple departments throughout the City to provide specialized services and support tailored to their specific needs. Although not exclusively limited to the following departments, these departments rely heavily on GIS services: Development Services Department (“DSD”), Neighborhood Services Department (“NSD”), Police Department (“PD”), Public Works Department (“PWD”), and Water Resources Department (“WRD”). This engagement is anticipated to be a multi-year contractual relationship, thereby securing a robust framework for the continuous enhancement and reliability of GIS operations. The awardee must be ready to provide the City with GIS services beginning Fiscal Year 24-25 on July 1, 2024.
