1. Contractor will have, at the time of bid submittal, a valid State of California Class “A” Contractor’s License and a C-57 License at the time of scheduled bid opening and it shall be valid throughout the term of the contract. (Attach copies with bid submittal). 2. Subcontractors are allowed; however, Contractor is responsible for completion of the work and the work of any subcontractors. 3. Contractor should provide all tools and equipment, labor, parts and materials necessary to provide proper installations. These costs shall be included in the bid price submitted on the Bid Submission Form. 4. All work shall be performed by no less than a journeyman-level technician, paid prevailing wages. 5. All workmanship and construction shall be completed in the best manner of the trade and shall be subject to the inspection and approval of the City. 6. Any additional work or equipment not specifically identified in this specification will require an agreed-upon fixed price approved by the City in writing prior to the commencement of work or repairs. 7. Contractor will respond within 24 hours of City’s request. 8. Contractor will be required to authorize the investigation of its personnel, subcontractors, independent contractors, Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), etc., that shall have access to non-public areas of Police facilities. The scope of the background check is at the discretion of the City. The decision of the City is final. Work performed within Police facilities by Contractor employees may require additional site access conditions, work procedures, access, and security measures, including a background check and verification that shall be adhered to. 9. Maintenance hours are limited to the hours from 6:00 p.m. to 2:30 a.m. Monday through Friday, unless otherwise approved by John Willoughby. Weekend work as approved.
