Specifications include, but are not limited to: (1). The Contractor shall take direction from the Authority Contract Manager and/or the Office of the State Fire Marshal (OSFM). (2). The Contractor shall remove and dispose of one (1) existing 7.5-ton air conditioning heat-pump unit and replace with one (1) new 7.5-ton high-efficiency 14 Seasonal Energy Efficiency Ratio (SEER) heat-pump air conditioning unit. (3). The Contractor shall remove and dispose of one (1) existing 3-ton air conditioning heat-pump unit and replace with one (1) new 3-ton high-efficiency 14 SEER heat-pump air conditioning unit. (4). The Contractor shall re-wire all electrical connections from an existing thermostat to the new 7.5-ton and 3-ton high-efficiency 14 SEER heat-pump air conditioning unit. (5). The Contractor shall install two (2) new curb caps connecting to the new 7.5-ton and 3-ton high-efficiency 14 SEER heat-pump air conditioning units. (6). The Contractor shall re-pipe the condensation lines for the new 7.5-ton and 3-ton high-efficiency 14 SEER heat-pump air conditioning units. (7). The Contractor shall re-insulate copper lines to the new 7.5-ton and 3-ton highefficiency 14 SEER heat-pump air conditioning units. (8). The Contractor shall replace two (2) existing air hoods and shall install two (2) new air hoods connecting to the new 7.5-ton and 3-ton high-efficiency 14 SEER heat-pump air conditioning units. (9). The Contractor shall replace two (2) existing smoke detectors and shall install two (2) new smoke detectors in place. (10). The Contractor shall test the functions of the new 7.5-ton and 3-ton highefficiency 14 SEER heat-pump air conditioning units, by powering the units and decreasing the temperature of the connected thermostat ten (10) degrees Fahrenheit lower than the building’s overall room temperature.
