Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Department of Managed Health Care (DMHC) is soliciting proposals from qualified entities to provide consulting services to conduct an independent analysis of the impact of health care service plan merger and acquisition transactions on health plan subscribers and enrollees, the stability of the health care delivery system, and whether the transactions would substantially lessen competition in health care service plan products or create a monopoly in this state. The successful Proposer will be awarded contract terms up to two years that are anticipated to begin on September 15, 2024, and end on September 14, 2026. The DMHC reserves the right to extend the contract(s) for an additional one-year term at the same rates and maximum dollar amount per year as the original agreements. Contract extensions are subject to satisfactory performance, funding availability and approval by the Department of General Services (DGS).
