The purpose of this Request for Proposal (RFP) is to solicit offers from qualified firms to establish a contract for professional services related to the development, implementation, and integration of the Health Information Exchange (HIE) solution and its ongoing fees to include, but not be limited to, the following: A Health Information Exchange (HIE) services using a secure and modern solution to facilitate the transfer of electronic health and social services information between specified health agency information systems and trading partners. The County is replacing OCPRHIO, a regional Health Information Organization (HIO), with the goal to expand to a statewide HIO solution for its HIE, to enhance capabilities to meet the requirements of the California Data Exchange Framework (DxF) Data Sharing Agreement (DSA).
