The District is issuing this RFP to request Move Services for John Adams Middle School (JAMS) as part of the new STEM project to commence during the 2025 Summer Break. The new STEM project is a new build, that will require the demolition of the existing building “L” (Diagram A). Staff/Teachers will need to be relocated to interim spaces in the 90 wing (Diagram B) for construction to start. Not all staff/teachers that are moving into the new STEM Building will require to move into the interim spaces but they will need to be moved once the STEM building project is completed. For the Move back there are teachers located in the 50 and 80 wing. The new building will receive new furniture. Only Instructional materials with a handful of furniture will move to the new building. This is a two (2) part Move requiring Move, Move Management, and First Day of Business (FDOB) services. No surplus required. We are only seeking a cost proposal for the Move Out. We will request a proposal for the Move Back once construction is complete in June 2027 of the vendor who is awarded the project.
