Sonoma County Probation seeks positive youth development and reentry support for youth in and transitioning from Juvenile Hall and Secure Youth Treatment Facility (SYTF). Services will assist in preparing detained and reentering youth for successful, healthy, crime-free and prosperous futures. Positive youth development services will support youths’ development of skills and connections within life areas of education, work, relationships, community, health and creativity. Reentry support will provide social support and guidance in navigating various systems, linkage to education, employment and health services, coaching to hone skills and overcome challenges, preparation for reunification with family and/or independent living, and assistance in strengthening positive social supports.
