Specifications include, but are not limited to: A. Contractor shall provide a landfill disposal site for non-compacted refuse, green waste (excluding tree stumps) and construction waste (to include concrete asphalt and concrete) generated from various projects and programs along the State Highways and Right-of-Ways in the Gilroy maintenance area in the County of Santa Clara for a period of three (3) years. B. Contractor shall accept all materials delivered by Caltrans Maintenance Crews, that consists of non-compacted refuse, green waste (excluding tree stumps) and construction waste (to include concrete asphalt and concrete). C. If dumpsite fees are increased during the term of this Agreement, all increases to dump fees shall be preapproved by the Caltrans Contract Manager. D. The rate per ton to be paid for less or more than one (1) ton will be prorated for actual weight of disposal. E. The following materials shall not be accepted by Contractor’s disposal site: • Paint • Solvents • Chemicals • Sludge • Hazardous Waste • Liquid Waste • Batteries • Paint Cans • Chemical Cans • Drums • Flooring Materials • Floor and Roof Tile • Insulation • Vehicle Clutches • Brake Shoes • Asbestos in any form • Tree Stumps
