Typical List of Tasks (at a minimum) for Inclusion in Proposed Scope of Services: 1. PROJECT MANAGEMENT: Establish the project development team (PDT) to consist of at a minimum the lead consultant’s project manager and key personnel, sub-consultant’s key personnel, and the City’s project manager. Develop and facilitate the means to regularly evaluate progress (e.g., regular progress meetings) to best ensure that the project remains on schedule to meet the City’s goals and expectations. It is required that the consultant’s project manager is a Professional Engineer registered in the state of California. 2. PROJECT AND BACKGROUND RESEARCH: Research and review available, existing documentation related to the project, the surrounding areas, such as but not limited to survey and aerial data, right of way maps, and previous project documentation, etc. Obtain relevant mapping from private utility companies (PG and E, AT&T, etc.) 3. TOPOGRAPHIC SURVEYING: Topographic surveying will be necessary for the preliminary and final design of the project. 4. PRELIMINARY DESIGN AND DEVELOPMENT OF ALTERNATIVES: Develop preliminary concepts for road reconstruction and pedestrian upgrades. Concepts should be consistent with those described in the 2021 Sonoma County Transportation Authority (SCTA) Funding Program Call for Projects included as Attachment C and be able to be constructed within the existing right-of-way. Develop 30% improvement plans based on a selected concept and/or selected elements from the various concepts and preliminary designs. 5.
