II. SCOPE OF WORK A. General Requirements The Service Provider shall provide material testing and inspection services required to complete the project and to meet the requirements of the University. Service provider will be working for the University. The Service Provider shall comply with all applicable laws, ordinances and regulations and notify the University of any change, discrepancy or inconsistency it discovers inapplicable laws and regulations, which may affect the project. Scope of work shall include all independent testing and special inspections as required by the project contract documents and Title 24. Service provider will need to coordinate inspections by California Office of the State Fire Marshal. B. Specific Requirements Material testing and inspection services shall include, but are not necessarily limited to, earthwork, foundations, reinforcing steel, structural steel and sprayed on fire protection. Service provider to review project specifications, submittals, and all UL listings for the project. 1. Service Provider shall be required to produce written reports, documenting testing and inspection results at the completion of each phase of testing and/or upon request of the University. Reports to be both daily and periodic reports of non-compliant work. Service Provider field personnel shall report to (sign-in/sign-out) with the University appointed Inspector of Record when arriving and leaving the site. Copies of reports to be made available to project developer and OSFM, online access preferred.
