Specifications include, but are not limited to: 3.1.1 Occupational Dog Safety Training Services The Contractor shall provide occupational dog safety training services, which includes, but shall not be limited to, the following duties: • Provide a wide range of occupational dog safety training, which includes dog psychology, warning signs, and responses to aggressive dogs. • Facilitate at least a 4 (four) hour in-person, occupational dog safety courses for groups of 20-30 employees at LACDA facilities throughout the County of Los Angeles. • Furnish all necessary materials or instruction aide and safety equipment to perform the required services. • Upon request, provide a canine (dog) for live demonstrations during the scheduled occupational dog safety training. • Issue certificates of completion for all LACDA employees who complete the training of the course. 3.1.2 Occupational Dog Safety Consulting Services The Contractor shall provide occupational dog safety consulting services which includes, but shall not be limited to, the following: • Assist the LACDA in developing safety strategies, policies and procedures related to occupational dog safety. • Provide research and written expert opinions to the LACDA staff, upon request, in response to legal claims, employee injuries, or investigation of occupational dog hazard safety incidents.
