The Bureau of Prisons has a future requirement for Occupational Education Services to include a Solid Waste Management & Recycling program and a Photovoltaic Solar Panel Installation program for inmates at the Federal Correctional Complex (FCC) located in Victorville, California. The NAICS Code is 611210 (Size Standard: $22.0 million). All duties shall be performed in accordance with standards and methods generally accepted within the industry and in compliance with all Federal and State policies and regulations. The contractor will provide services in accordance with the Statement of Work. See the attached Statement of Work for schedule requirements. The sessions are on a requirements basis; therefore, schedule and sessions can change. Registration fees, tuition, lab fees, test preparation, and any incidental fees, will be included in the contract price. The Contract will only be awarded to a post-secondary institution, vocational technical school, or industry based school who will be responsible for providing instruction leading to an industry recognized certification or diploma in the relative field. The Government contemplates awarding a requirements-type contract with firm-fixed unit prices resulting from the forthcoming solicitation. A Government solicitation document to provide these services is being developed, and a contract may or may not result. Market research is being conducted to determine interest and capability of potential sources for this requirement. All information submitted in response to this announcement is voluntary. The Government will not pay for information requested nor will it compensate any respondent for any cost incurred in developing information provided to the Government.
