Specifications include, but are not limited to: 1. Graphic Design:Includes design and production of art for logos, brand development of bus service products, collateral materials, flyers, brochures, rider alerts, maps, print advertisements, annual reports, direct mail, billboards, website, and miscellaneous graphic needs. Includes Ride Guide production, updating maps, schedules and text pages and cover designs. RTA reprints the Ride Guide during service changes, whichgenerally take place three times a year. Most design work will be used in both print and web applications. 2. Website Design and Maintenance:Manage design and updates to the RTA website, www.RiversideTransit.com. Provide technical support for company intranet. Standard design and maintenance shall include: 1. Editing, revising, and updating all text and photo content on the site 2. Making modifications to existing layout, templates, script, and content management system 3. Maintaining a complete backup of the site through the duration of the contract 4. Consultation on the user-ability of the site and suggestions for design and functionality edits/updates 5. Browser compatibility monitoring and updating 6. Manage hosting through third party 7. Technical support as needed with hosting, domain, or site issues8. Provide maintenance, support, updates, and content changes 9. Maintain integration to current links to Google translation and Google Transit10. Possess a demonstrated record of high-quality managed services, active account management and a reliable support program11. Keep the site secure and protected12. Maintain sites responsiveness and compatibility with mobile devices 3. General Marketing Services: Assist with creation and implementation of small and large marketing efforts that may include a mix of creative development and design for print, web, direct mail, radio, video production, and outdoor and social media. Qualified, full-service marketing firms may be used for the following programs and objectives:•Promote RTA services •Boost brand awareness of RTA and all its services within Riverside and surrounding counties•Promote the launching of new services and openings of new facilities•Research and identify target markets•Develop marketing strategies, including overall brand strategy•Develop and implement advertising campaigns•Provide media planning and buying services•Provide creative services support, concepts, and product development•Evaluate the effectiveness of marketing and advertising programs•Create positive view of RTA•Other service as needed RTA is seeking proposals from qualified marketing/public relations firms to manage and expand the public outreach and marketing strategy for RTA. Experience in traditional and nontraditional media advertising, word of mouth advertising, social media, research, and public relations are all helpful.
