Specifications include, but are not limited to: All qualified consultants must be capable of furnishing all necessary professional and technical services set forth below. The City will be utilizing General, Federal, State and other funds for the projects. The list is not exhaustive and may include other services as directed or requested by City staff. The actual Scope of services will be determined on a project-by-project basis. PROPOSED SCOPE OF SERVICES TO INCLUDE, BUT NOT LIMITED TO: • Guidance on developing retail attraction lists, and actively seeking out food and beverage tenants. • Actively promote Ontario to food and beverage tenants. • Facilitate introductions between food and beverage tenants with City officials and property owners/leasing agents. • Make recommendations to City on City-developed tenant improvement grants and other incentives that could be made available. • Make recommendations to City on how to structure deals to provide gap financing or other requirements to attract tenants. • Prepare marketing materials for various projects and target areas within the City. • Prepare demographic and market analysis reports for various targeted areas. • Assist in setting up meetings at ICSC and/or other retail conferences and tradeshows. • Other duties as assigned related to business attraction throughout Ontario. The Consultant will be expected to work closely with staff for the duration of the assigned projects, and attend all meetings and workshops, as necessary.
