Work shall Include but not be limited to the following elements: • Vendor shall perform a complete teardown and inspection of transmission. Upon inspection, an itemized estimate shall be submitted via email to the Transit Maintenance Vehicle Superintendent or designee. The estimate shall include a breakdown of new parts needed with the cost for each part and labor to rebuild. • Overhaul Allison B300, B400, B500, 400EVS and HTB741 transmissions. • Vendor must be able to remove and replace Allison B300, B400, B500, 400EVS and HTB741 transmissions on transit buses and Fire apparatus on an as-needed basis. • Replace all necessary parts to bring the transmission to Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) “As-New” specifications, including but not limited to, clutches, bearings, gaskets and seals with new and unused parts. • Complete a performance Dyno test per OEM standards on all remanufactured units with test results attached to the transmission when returned. • Only new and unused, Allison parts shall be used. • Transmissions shall be refilled with genuine Transynd ATF.
