Specifications include, but are not limited to: VTA seeks proposals (each, a “Proposal”) from qualified firms (each, a “Proposer”) to provide parking operation management services (“Services”) for the Milpitas and Berryessa BART parking Facilities according to the guidelines set forth in this Request for Proposals (“RFP”). In May 2017, VTA completed construction of parking structures and surface lots, which are located adjacent to the BART Milpitas (“Milpitas Facility”) and BART Berryessa (“Berryessa Facility”) stations, which serve as the primary park and ride for commuters on the BART regional transit system. Together the Milpitas Facility and Berryessa Facility are referred to as the “Facilities”. The site plans of the parking structures and surface lots, which are located adjacent to the Milpitas Transit Center (“Milpitas Facility”) and Berryessa/North San José Transit Center (“Berryessa Facility”) are depicted in Exhibits A6/7 and A9. The Milpitas Facility contains approximately 1,635 self-park spaces within a surface lot and seven-level parking garage that will serve the Milpitas BART Station and VTA Transit Center through daily, monthly and long-term airport parking as shown on Exhibit A8. The Berryessa Facility contains approximately 1,478 self-park spaces within a surface lot and sixlevel parking garage that will serve the Berryessa BART Station and VTA Transit Center through daily, monthly and long-term airport parking as shown in Exhibit A10. Of note, a third party currently licenses the use of 200 dedicated stalls (144 parking stalls on Level 7 and 56 parking stalls on Level 6).
