Specifications include, but are not limited to: The services provided by Contractor(s) shall include, but not be limited to, the following: 1- Haul and deliver potable water in bulk to private residents and small water systems serving up to 25 people. Delivery locations may include any area in Santa Cruz County, including remote, mountainous and rural areas. Trucks must meet weight limits and be suitable for navigating curvy, sloped and narrow roads common in the Santa Cruz mountains and other rural areas in the County. 2- Maintain ongoing, routine and regular deliveries for private residents and small water systems for the duration of the contract with the County. 3- Accommodate time sensitive water hauling requests (within 3 days of receipt of request). 4- Deliver bulk potable water at an appropriate rate to ensure continual supply of roughly 50 gallons per resident, per day. This should equal no more than one (1) 3,800 gallon delivery per household every six (6) weeks. 5- Troubleshoot equipment and/or collaborate with other contractors as needed to facilitate successful deliveries and accessibility of delivered water. 6- Communicate and coordinate effectively with staff of Santa Cruz County Environmental Health or Office of Response, Recovery and Resilience, to respond to requests for services, and submit reports and invoices as specified in contract. 7- Submit to the County monthly documentation of all hauling activities performed under this contract, including volume transported, date and drop-off location. 8- Do not represent the County in matters of policy or procedures; refer all questions or inquiries from the public regarding policy and procedures to County staff. 9- Follow all laws, rules and regulations as a State Certified Potable Water Hauler, including all vehicle requirements and any resolutions, memorandums of understanding, or agreements with Cal OES and the County pertaining to this contract. 10- Follow all County protocols and all required documentation.
