Glenn County intends to award a construction contract which includes the furnishing of all labor, materials, equipment, transportation and services necessary for the completion of the project. This is a prevailing wage project. A summary of the work is included below: 1. Removal and disposal of all panel shingle siding and moisture barrier. Installation of plywood backing, moisture barrier and primed fiber cement board horizontal lap siding shall occur where shingle siding was removed. All primed fiber cement board horizontal lap siding shall be painted after installation. 2. The alternate scope of work is removal and disposal of all panel shingle siding and moisture barrier. Installation of plywood backing, moisture barrier and primed composite horizontal lap siding shall occur where shingle siding was removed. All primed composite horizontal lap siding shall be painted after installation.
