The County of Riverside Purchasing and Fleet Services Department (COUNTY), on behalf of its Riverside County Sheriff’s Office (RSO), is soliciting a Request for Quote (RFQ) for transportation services to be provided on an as-needed basis for RSO and its released incarcerated persons. Services are to be provided only outside of local bus schedules corresponding to RSO’s five (5) detention facilities (see Exhibit ‘A’ Scope of Services, Section 4.a. for location addresses and requested service hours) seven (7) days a week, including holidays. To support and meet the need of the detention centers, the COUNTY reserves the right to establish multiple contracts with multiple vendors for each facility. There will be multiple RSO facilities requesting transportation services and RSO’s personnel will work with the awarded bidder throughout the contract period to coordinate pickups.
