Specifications include, but are not limited to: It is the intent of the County to solicit a proposal for recycling center operation services to a single contractor. If your firm is capable of providing most services, but not all, you may bid on as many services as possible and indicate why you cannot provide the other services. The County maintains the right, as it may deem necessary, to add or delete services to this contract, by thirty (30) day written notice, in order to accommodate any future County offered programs or as a result in the reduction in County funds. Requests for increase in services will be negotiated with the successful proposer based on the rates provided in the accepted proposal. Locations: Buena Vista Landfill, 1231 Buena Vista Drive, Watsonville, CA 95076 Ben Lomond Transfer Station, 9835 Newell Creek Road, Ben Lomond, CA 95005 B. Materials accepted: 1. CONTRACTOR shall accept the following materials at Buena Vista Landfill and Ben Lomond Transfer Station recycling centers: Corrugated cardboard Newspaper Magazines Mixed waste paper, including junk mail, catalogues, kraft bags, kraft paper, paperboard, egg cartons, phone books, brown paper, grocery bags, colored paper, construction paper, envelopes, legal pad backings, shoe boxes, cereal and similar food boxes, computer paper, aseptic packaging, milk and juice cartons, hard cover and paperback books.
