Specifications include, but are not limited to: As a final deliverable, the selected consultant will: (1) produce conceptual design plans (10% plan view) for the corridor showing space allocation and functioning of the entire street right-of-way, including curb use; (2) renderings, photosimulations, or other public-facing graphic representations, of key points along the corridor that will give a sense of the look and feel of the future street; (3) preliminary construction cost estimates; (4) an implementation plan, focusing on funding future phases of the Project; and (5) preliminary concepts, including ideas for programming, for key sites along the corridor. Proposers should develop an overall scope of work that can be completed within the available budget of $485,000. In developing their cost proposals, proposers should suggest areas in which City staff could expend a greater level of effort to reduce consultant costs. More details on the budget can be found in Form 9 - Proposer Cost Form. The City expects that proposers will assemble multidisciplinary teams to be managed by a prime consultant to successfully complete this plan. Teams should have expertise in the disciplines below. Note, however, that a more exhaustive list of qualifications is provided in the “Minimum and Preferred Qualifications” section of this RFP.
