The work performed is to be in conformity with the scope of work set forth below: A. Contractor agrees to be available to provide snow removal services at any time requested by the State at a flat hourly rate, profit and benefits. The flat hourly rate should be based upon the following: 1) Equipment operator B. Minimum equipment: 4WD loader, 150 hp, such as 950 Caterpillar, 644 John Deere, or equivalent with three (3) yards minimum bucket capacity. C. Contractor agrees to respond automatically when the snow accumulation is more than three (3) feet. Contractor further agrees to respond to requests for snow removal within two (2) hours following each request by the CHP. Due to the critical operations of the CHP, failure to respond to snow removal requests within the time constraints may result in the cancellation of the contract. D. The Contractor shall arrange with the CHP on-site contact to have any vehicles moved in order to facilitate snow removal. E. Contractor shall check in with the CHP on-site contact and sign in on the vendor log which will be provided by the CHP on-site contact. Contractor shall sign out prior to leaving the site. Failure to do so may be cause for disputing invoices for services. F. Invoices submitted to the State must reflect the date of service and actual time spent on-site removing snow. Payment will not be accepted for travel time to and from the job site or any delays caused by equipment failure.
