The Sacramento Housing and Redevelopment Agency and its constituent entities (SHRA) are soliciting for a qualified firm to perform security guard services at our administrative offices located at 801 12th Street, Housing Choice Voucher offices at 630 I Street, and monitor parking lots. Other locations may need guards on an as needed basis within the City and County of Sacramento. . Security guard services will be provided from 7:30am – 5:15pm. Firm will need to coordinate adequately trained staff for coverage during morning and afternoon breaks and lunches. B. Guard will need to provide constant coverage at front entry door, which is locked 24 hours. Employees can gain access with their badge, and shall be verified with show of badge upon entry to building. All other visitors to building must be screened by the guard prior to being allowed into the building per instructions provided by SHRA. C. The guard must be able to talk to members of the public and direct them (if necessary) to other SHRA offices such as the HCV office for additional rental housing assistance. D. Guard will allow entry to applicable visitors, have them register and provide a guest pass or tag to the visitor(s). The guard will walk visitor(s) to the elevator and provide access for the visitor(s) to proceed to the 2nd floor. E. Guard will keep individuals from loitering at the front door and in the lobby area. Guard will review the security surveillance feed from multiple cameras displaying on one monitor to ensure the integrity of the building’s security. Any questionable behavior will need to be reported to the appropriate SHRA personnel and police, if necessary. F. Daily Activity Report (DAR) to be completed daily with log of all occurrences. G. Guard shall keep track of Vendors entering and exiting the building in the DAR. A note in the DAR for every Vendor who takes the key from the lockbox. H. Guard will respond to security needs as requested.
