• Conducting bag checks of guests or enforcing the clear bag policy (note: the University does not require clear bags at games, but many rental events do). • Ensuring guests do not carry prohibited items inside the venue. • Checking tickets for entry or seating. • Assisting University staff with managing inebriated and unruly guests. • Collaborating with University Police and Events Staff during emergency situations. • Monitoring stands and surrounding concourse to ensure the safety of guests, studentathletes, and game personnel. • Patrolling areas that are off-limits to guests and non-credentialed personnel. • Ensuring no unauthorized personnel or guests access the field or court before, during, or after the game until the stadium or gym has been cleared. • Ensuring no guests leave the site with an alcoholic beverage. • Assisting University staff and the event manager with attending to injured guests or student-athletes. • Supporting the event manager with additional duties as they arise, including but not limited to overnight watch, supplemental staff for softball tournaments, facility rentals, etc. • Providing managers, supervisors, and up to 50 security staff for any given event or game. • Mobilizing staff to be on campus within 24 hours' notice. • Attending all mandatory campus site walk-throughs. • Making a reasonable effort to maintain consistent staffing, so personnel become familiar with guests and season ticket holders. • Providing metal detectors or wands if requested by outside rentals. • Providing proof of Cleary Act training completion for all staff.
