Specifications include, but are not limited to: CONTRACTOR shall provide the following designated special education services: (1) individual speech and language assessments of Head Start preschool children referred by the Head Start agency as possibly in need of special education; (2) itinerant small group special education transdisciplinary intervention in the Head Start classroom according to the child’s Individualized Education Program (IEP) orIndividualized Family Service Plan (IFSP) if applicable (Early Childhood Itinerant Teacher ( “ECIT”) services); (3) itinerant small group speech therapy intervention at the Head Start site according to the terms of the child’s IEP or IFSP if applicable; and (4) attendance at IEP meetings as requested. CONTRACTOR Administrators shall attend a minimum of three District trainings and/or meetings during the District school calendar year. CONTRACTOR shall have the capability to complete 250 speech and language assessments and provide speech therapy and Early Childhood Itinerant Teacher intervention to eligible children in a minimum of 150 classrooms at 40 Head Start sites located in one of the Northeast, Northwest, East, South, Central or West Local Districts of the Los Angeles Unified School District. (See Attachment 1) CONTRACTOR and their staff shall have the ability to access a web-based system to monitor, track and record all of the services outlined in this Statement of Work.
