Specifications include, but are not limited to: Contractor shall provide SE services to 100 unduplicated clients per fiscal year. Contractor’s SE staff includes employment/education specialists, disability benefits planning staff, and a SE supervisor. SE staff will utilize the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA) Supported Employment Evidence Based Practice (EBP) outlined in the following toolkit to provide SE services: https://store.samhsa.gov/product/Supported-Employment-EvidenceBased-Practices-EBP-Kit/SMA08-4364 SE staff will apply the EBP to assist clients that have education goals that can range from adult literacy to graduate school. 2.1.1 SE Engagement A. SE staff will provide SE engagement to clients referred by HMHC staff to explore clients’ interest in receiving SE services. SE engagement strategies will include contacting the client directly, meeting with the client and the HMHC staff, home/community visits, and connecting with family/support person(s) when applicable. Referred clients that are interested in SE services will be oriented to SE services as soon as possible, but no later than 30 days after being referred, and will be scheduled to complete a Vocational Profile. SE staff will provide clients who prefer to receive employment and education services from a different program with linkage to them. B. SE staff will make numerous attempts to contact clients referred to SE services prior to concluding that a client is no longer interested in receiving SE services.
