The Engineering Services shall include, but are not limited to the following: • Advancing the design plans from the current 60% to 100% Plans Approved for Construction (AFC), • Preparation of a City Engineer Class A Cost Estimate formatted per the Caltrans E-76 form 3-A, • Conducting community engagement, • Utility coordination with third parties, • Developing, submitting, and receiving approval of the traffic control plans from the Los Angeles Department of Transportation (LADOT), • Coordinating and advancing the fire hydrant relocations and new water meters with the Los Angeles Department of Water and Power (LADWP), • Assisting in the preparation of the E-76 and Caltrans Allocation request forms for the Construction Phase per the latest Caltrans Local Assistance Procedures Manual, and • Assisting City staff in coordinating the Bid Proposal Package for construction with the BOE’s Project Award and Control Division (PAC).
