Specifications include, but are not limited to: 1. Perform regular maintenance of the 14,700-acre TLC Property, such as weed abatement, mowing, upkeep of the approximately 55-miles of irrigation canals, and repair of improvements such as fences and roads; and 2. Provide equipment and labor to spread and disk compost and perform custom farming activities on portions of the 5,760-acre TLC Ag Site during the winter seasons of 2024-25, 2025-26, and 2026-27, as directed by LACSD, based on water availability and other factors. The farming entity will also be responsible for “local” water delivery to the farmed areas of TLC Ag Site using the existing canal/ditch system including providing/operating any pumping equipment that is required and installation of temporary canals/ditches. LACSD will be responsible to deliver water to designated delivery points adjacent to the TLC Ag Site. LACSD will also deliver compost to the TLC Ag Site.
