Specifications include, but are not limited to: Task #1: Shehorn Adit # 1(Feature ID 76705) – BAT-COMPATIBLE CLOSURE Shehorn Adit # 1 is a stable adit, with some sloughed material in the portal. A bat-compatible closure with removable bar shall be installed inside the adit, with a sill plate with concrete foundation that allows water drainage. Task #2: Shehorn Adit # 2 (Feature ID 76706) – BAT-COMPATIBLE CLOSURE Shehorn Adit # 2 is a stable adit that has an existing metal gate with an ajar metal door. A batcompatible closure with removable bar shall be installed inside the adit. The existing metal door can be removed if needed for access but must be reattached after work is completed. Task #3: Shehorn Adit # 3 (Feature ID 76707) – BAT-COMPATIBLE CLOSURE Shehorn Adit # 3 is a stable adit. A bat-compatible closure with removable bar shall be installed inside the adit, with a sill plate with a concrete foundation that allows water drainage. (Note: The Shehorn mine features are accessed by foot from a decommissioned road/trail about 750’ to the site from the gravel access road. During the last AMLU site visit, the road was heavily eroded on the edges. The trail to the mine site must be accessed on foot. There are numerous berms along the way and several downed trees that can be cut if needed for access.)
