a. Contractor shall provide a minimum of 8,900 square feet of tents coverage • Set up / erect a minimum of 8,000 square feet of tents on CSLO, 10 Sonoma Ave, San Luis Obispo, Ca 93405 (See SOW Attachment I for map of location). To meet the tent coverage requirements, the contractor may use a combination of 40 ft. x 60 ft. and 20 ft. x 20 ft. canopies to achieve the 8,000 square foot total. • Set up / erect a minimum of 900 square feet of tents on San Luis Obispo Sportsmen’s Association (SLOSA), 3270 Gilardi Rd, San Luis Obispo, Ca 93405 (See SOW Attachment 2 for map of location). To meet the tent coverage requirements, the contractor may use a combination of 20 ft. x 60 ft. canopies to achieve the 900 square foot total. • Tents erected shall be white pole-style, high peak pole, or sailcloth style tents. • To meet the minimum square footage requirements, Contractor may combine tents with the smallest sizes of 40 ft. x 60 ft, 20 ft. x 20 ft., and 20 ft. x 60 ft. • Tents erected shall not have sides. • Tents erected shall be anchored to withstand 40-50 MPH winds – To include appropriate anchoring systems tailored to the tent model and ground conditions. • Ground conditions at the site are level grass fields with gopher holes. • Provide safety cones or caution tapes to prevent tripping over the anchoring stakes. • The contractor shall provide an on-call point of contact as needed to maintain tent stability, address wear and tear during unforeseen weather conditions, perform repairs, and ensure proper anchoring of stakes remains intact. • Contractor shall meet in conference with the CM after the contract is awarded a week prior to June 13, 2025, to determine exact set-up location / work site conditions. b. Contractor shall provide four (4) classrooms sized climate-controlled tents with a minimum of 1,100 square feet of tents coverage • Set up a minimum of 4 classroom-sized tents, each with at least 1,100 square feet, at CSLO, 10 Sonoma Ave, San Luis Obispo, CA 93405 (please see SOW Attachment 1). • Ensure all tents are of the same neutral color for uniformity. • Fewer tents are preferred, however, contractor shall combine tents if needed to meet the minimum square feet requirement. • Anchor the tents to withstand 40-50 mph winds, using appropriate anchoring systems tailored to the tent model and ground conditions. • Ground conditions at the site are level grass fields with gopher holes. • Provide safety cones or caution tape to prevent tripping hazards around the anchoring stakes. • Each tent shall include climate control (air conditioning / heating). • Provide at least one 20 kW Diesel generator to power each HVAC unit and shall be whisper/quite model due to the proximity of other classroom tents. • However, using fewer generators 56-70 kW, is preferred if they can efficiently power each tent and meet the minimum square footage requirement. • Provide all necessary connections to utilize A/C and heating systems on site. • Provide all protective ramps for generators and power cords extending from 25- 150 feet. • Provide initial fuel and necessary maintenance/service for the generator to sustain 24-hour operation. • Provide 13 tables and 55 chairs per tent for classroom setup. • Equip the tents with integrated LED light systems and power generation and distribution. • Tents shall have all sides enclosed with sidewalls, designated entrance and exit sides, and floor covering. • The contractor shall provide an on-call point of contact as needed to maintain tent stability, address wear and tear during unforeseen weather conditions, perform A/C and heating units repair, and ensure proper anchoring of stakes remains intact. • Contractor shall meet in conference with the CM after the contract is awarded a week prior to June 13, 2025, to determine exact set-up location / work site conditions.
