A. Contractor shall provide three separate mission critical training program courses for up to eighty (80) California Highway Patrol (CHP) students each with a total of two hundred forty (240) students. The contractor shall provide a primary instructor for the classroom portion and have sufficient instructors for the hands-on portion of the course to support small group learning during multiple hands-on practical exercises. The in-depth training shall cover a comprehensive advanced course for law enforcement that focuses specifically on the commercial motor vehicle (CMV)/transportation industry. B. The course will give the attendees knowledge and confidence necessary to identify, apprehend and successfully prosecute those that seek to exploit the industry for criminal gain. The course shall be a combination of lecture and hands on practical application. The lecture portion will utilize power point, videos, student handouts and a student workbook. The classroom portion shall give the attendee a solid, basic understanding of the transportation industry and how it typically operates.
