The consultant shall conduct comprehensive research into best practices by reviewing guidelines from other jurisdictions, studying parking management strategies, and considering other relevant guidelines. To conduct a preliminary evaluation of the current parking conditions to assess the potential improvement in parking efficiency through the implementation of a parking striping program. Develop a comprehensive parking striping plan for the roadways evaluated excluding areas where parking striping or meters already exist. The plan should prioritize areas with high existing parking demand, as identified in Task 2. This strategy aims to enhance parking availability and efficiency, thereby improving overall traffic flow and safety.
