RFP Objectives UC currently offers a variety of HMO and PPO options for Faculty & Staff, retirees and their eligible dependents. For purposes of this RFP, pharmacy is outside of the scope of this RFP and all nonMedicare actives and their eligible dependents will be outside of the scope of this RFP. The current Medicare PPO plans offered and included in this RFP are: • UC Medicare Supplement PPO Plan – 13,500 enrolled members • UC Medicare Supplement PPO without Prescription Drugs Plan – 590 enrolled members • UC High Option Medicare Supplement PPO Plan – 3,700 enrolled members UC is looking to partner with a Third Party Claims Administrators that will successfully administer the Medicare PPO Benefit offerings, accommodate UC specific customizations and provide an outstanding member experience. A successful RFP process will lead to the selection of suppliers that will work collaboratively with the University to help drive overall better outcomes.
