The City of Redlands is seeking un-armed security guard services to patrol two different train platform locations, for varying shifts based on the start and end of the train schedule. Work will consist of monitoring and surveilling the train platforms and parking lots to perform the following: Provide onsite surveillance and reporting, Report any issues to appropriate City Staff aside from illegal activity o Any issues of an illegal or emergency nature shall be directed to Redlands Police Department 7 days per week Shift hours: o University Station Start 4:30 A.M. End 11:00 P.M. M-F o Downtown Station Start 4:30 A.M. End 11:30 P.M. M-F o University Station Start 5:15 A.M. End 11:15 P.M. Sat-Sun o Downtown Station Start 5:15 A.M. End 12:00 A.M. Sat-Sun At all times, while onsite and working, unarmed security guards are to be in uniform and drive a vehicle clearly identified as a “security” vehicle. The City can make no guarantee of any specific term at the designated site; however, the above information should be used as a guide for bidding purposes. Any additional as-needed services will be compensated at the appropriate hourly rate per the successful bid and no guaranteed minimum will be provided. The number of hours shown in the Scope of Services Bid Schedule are an annual best estimate and will be used to evaluate bid results. Bidder must provide everything necessary at company expense including, but not limited to all labor, supplies, tools, equipment, and the like required to perform and complete the required services. Bidder must perform and comply with all work per these specifications, according to all applicable and acceptable industry standards, of the highest quality commensurate with the required service required. The security guard services include, but are not limited to, patrolling areas by foot, monitoring, and responding to security issues, and performing the Post Orders and Pass Down duties.
