Specifications include, but are not limited to: San Bernardino City Unified School District’s (SBCUSD) Educational Services Division under the supervision of the Accountability and Educational Technology Department is looking for a comprehensive local assessment system and universal screening/progress monitoring assessment in Reading and Math for all students District-wide (K-12). ● The assessment tools need to be available in English and Spanish. ● Assessments need to be efficient, have high reliability and validity, and be validated through independent research. ● Assessments must also be correlated to California Common Core State Standards. ● The results must be easy to interpret and be readily accessible to teachers, resource specialists, school site leaders, school site support staff, and other District personnel. ● This platform should be compatible for input in our Data Warehousing System, PowerSchool Unified Insights for use of reports. ● The assessment should be able to be used in collaboration with other curriculum support platforms in K-12. ● The assessment should be untimed in both Reading and Math. ● Assessment should support multiple choice items as well as different item types including free text, graphic reorder matching, multi select, drag, and drop, etc. ● This system should provide user-friendly access to different types of data to various end users for the purpose of monitoring, tracking, and reporting on student achievement. ● Norms should consider instructional weeks between test administration to accurately identify growth data.
