- Remove the boiler exterior wall and insulation. - Cut and remove boiler membrane and the three damaged tubes,on the front and back walls. - Remove the front and back wall 4" vertical header between the elbows. - Clean out the upper and lower rear 4" header pipes and prep ends for welding - Replace the vertical 4" header between the elbows, usin new 4" SA-106B. - Grind and prep the boiler 4" header tube stubs and rear and front wall fins to accept the new tubes. - Provide and install three new ASME code 2" SA-178A boiler tubes .135 wall thickness for the front and back wall. - Patch the refractory at the steam and mud drums. - Mechanically clean the boiler tubes and headers. - Remove all debris from the boiler tubes and headers. - Replace steam/mud drums and furnace gaskets. - Perform hydro test in accordance with all code requirements. - Provide a boiler inspector to witness the hydro testing, inspect the welding repairs and sign the NBIC R-1 repair documentation. - Provide and install new insulation for the front and back walls. - Install the exterior walls. - Touch up paint to match existing.
