The program has three primary goals: • GOAL 1: Increase youth employment • GOAL 2: Develop career pathways • GOAL 3: Create improvement in youth performance and reduction in youth barriers I. Program Description and Requirements A. Metrics/Reporting Contractors will be required to report the following metrics on a monthly basis: • Number of youth enrolled in job training/readiness programs • Number of youth completing job training/readiness programs • Description of specific services provided to youth throughout program duration • Improvement in youth performance and reduction in client barriers (tracked through regular assessments) • Youth success stories and how this program impacted their future • Information/data/member stories will be requested for annual report • Job training evaluations • Any other pertinent statistical data as deemed necessary by the City of La Puente II. Program Scope of Work The scope of work for the contractor in this program area may include (but are not limited to) the following: • Individualized case management for participants in the areas of: • Job readiness • Food/Nutrition • Homelessness/Housing • Medical and disability issues • Transportation • Mental Health • On-going wrap-around services to address employment barriers • Connections to specialized training, education, and tuition reimbursement • Developing life skills training programs • Support in obtaining long-term paid employment (e.g., resume workshops, workplace communication, interview skills, sharing best practices for job hunting, etc.) • Building partnerships to support growth in fields with high-quality jobs
