1) Construction management that includes coordination of on-site improvement work grading, drainage, and rigid/flexible paving. 2) Inspection services that include acting as Inspector of Record (IOR) to confirm contract document compliance. a) Inspection of all disciplines necessary to complete full development of a new fire station building or similarExample building: barracks/mess hall building (three thousand four hundred seventy-eight square feet (3,478 sf)); a two (2)- apparatus building (two thousand six hundred ten square feet (2,610 sf)); a generator/pump/storage building (five hundred four square feet (504 sf)) with emergency generator and transfer switch, a storage building (five hundred eighty-five square feet (585 sf)), and a trash enclosure (one hundred seventy-one square feet (171 sf)). This project also includes: replacement/upgrade of underground utilities and/or connections (water, sewer, electric, gas, telephone/radio); fuel facility (above ground storage tanks/dispensing system, canopy); security system (security lighting, motion detectors w/phone alarm CAL FIRE dispatch); a vehicle wash pad and hose wash rack. Project includes the demolition and removal of existing buildings on site. Site work includes grading, paving, curbs, walkways, gutters, drainage, landscaping, retaining walls, fencing, entrance gate and all associated appurtenances. b) Inspection of tenant improvement work that includes building improvements/modifications and site improvements/modifications. 3) Materials testing services by accepted Laboratory Evaluation and Acceptance (LEA) facility. a) Materials testing shall include, but not be limited to site compactions, concrete strength, rebar tensile strength, special inspections as needed to confirm building compliance with applicable code as required by technical specifications to be provided in the Task Order scope. b) Contractor to provide all material testing required for construction of the Project including, but not limited to, DSA essential services facilities’ testing requirements and Project applicable Codes and regulations.
