In this RFP SD23-00097 for on-site dialysis services, the California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation/California Correctional Health Care services (CDCR/CCHCS)1 is requesting proposals for on-site dialysis services at California Health Care Facility (CHCF), Richard J. Donovan Correctional Facility (RJD), San Quentin Rehabilitation Center (SQ) and Wasco State Prison (WSP). CDCR will be the named party of the resulting Agreement. The objective of this initiative is to obtain on-site dialysis services, including all associated equipment, maintenance, supplies, and dialysis treatment staff, for patients assigned to CHCF, RJD, SQ, and WSP. The bidder shall establish rates for services provided to patients that are comparable with those in the commercial marketplace. This RFP requires the Contractor to provide all medications, dialysis equipment, materials, supplies, and every other item of expense necessary to provide on-site dialysis services. Contractor shall ensure all necessary equipment be installed and in good working condition prior to the commencement of dialysis services at CHCF, RJD, SQ, and WSP. The Agreement term shall be the period of December 10, 2024 or Upon Approval through December 9, 2027. CCHCS will have the option of extending this Agreement for up to two (2) optional one (1) year extensions, through December 9, 2029.
